Flow Charateristic in a Centrifugal Fluidized Bed

Centrifugal fluidized bed is the fluidization equipment exerted the centrifugal force fieldgenerated by the rotation,The relatively new type equipment can keep the smooth, homogenoous flu-idlzed states on the conditions of the large gas flow rates.The flu idized states of the bed can be con-trolled by changing the rotational speed of the bed. This characteristic causes a centrifugal fluidized bedto satisfying the needs of the large flow rate as well as smooth fluidization in many industrial preeess-es.A series of experiments was carried out for the flow character1stics in a centrifugal flu idlzed bed.The pressure drop through the bed vs. gas superficial velocity were obtained,The influences of rotation-al speed of the bed,particle diameter,density of particle and bed thickness were examined.
