| Abstract: | Jiangxi Hydrologic Database System (JHDBS) is a large hydrologic information management system using VAX-11 information management system software and host language FORTRAN. The system is designed with the method of software engineering and advanced techenology and experience both at home and abroad. The JHDBS consists of 4 components: database, data ststion, data query system and method base system, this paper is to study each component of the JHDBS and it can be used for refereme in establishing the National Distributed Hydrologic Database System, especially in choosing the DBMS. |
