Therefore, we need to design special sentence editor for visual query language. The paper introduces the limited state conversion of user interface, visual user interface design, realization of editor and an application example. It gives the idea of design and the methods of realization of visual query language CQL. The editor can offer an easy, simple and quick programming tool for civil engineers. User interface of graphic symbol has friendly, simple and visual characteristics.
