| Abstract: | The Yunnan-Burmese Highway is an important main line of transportation between Burma and China during the periods of Anti-Japanese War. It is built for meeting the demand of war situation at that time. For a long time, this highway played a positive role not only in the Anti-Japanese War in China, but also in the victory of Anti-Fascist struggle throughout the world. Meanwhile, it boosted the Yunnan's local economic development and made a great impact on developing ethnic regions in Yunnan province. |
