The Influences of Electronic Journal on the Construction of Library Collection

With the growing maturity of the electronic journal technology,the introduction of electronic journals into library has become a common practice,which brings about great influences on the development of journal collection in library and academic communication. This paper analyzes the features of electronic journal and its development,expounds the superiorities and limitations of electronic journal and paper journal respectively,and puts forward some countermeasures for perfecting the collection of library under the new situation.
