Review of Library' s Function for Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage

Based on the discussion on that the library possesses the function for safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage, this paper points out that paying attention to the intangible cultural heritage is an inside request of giving play to library’s function, and further discusses how to safeguard well the intangible cultural heritage through collecting, arranging and spreading the active knowledge, how to enrich and perfect library’s function, and how to serve better the public.
