| Abstract: | The liquid crystal (T_(15)) films have been prepared by using Langmuir-Blodgestt(LB) technique. X-ray diffraction demonstrates that the deposition types of liquid crystal LB films can be controlled by mixing ratios with arachidic acid. In the case of 2 : 1 mixture of T_(15) and arachidic acid, noncentrosymmetric Z-type LB film is built up. The static pyroelectric coefficient of the noncentrosymmetric LB film is of the order of 10~(-10) C. cm~(-2). K~(-1). |
