| Abstract: | The content of total quinquenoside of Panax Quinquefolium from 14 different producing areas is determined by UV spectrophotometry and TLC spectrophotometry respectively, and the determination results are compared. The results of both F examination and t examination indicate that the results of content determination of the two different methods above metioned are coincidence basically. UV spectrophotometry is able to replace TLC spectrophotometry to determine the content of total quinquenoside of Pank Quinquefolium. |
