“场”的词义发展历程及年代

“场”的词义经历了由表示“祭祀用的平地”和“收打、翻晒粮食的平坦场地”到泛指“进行某种活动的处所”，再到泛指“某种领域的演变过程”。由于佛教的兴盛，“场”被用于表示进行法事的处所，唐时，出现了借名词“场”来计量法事活动的次数的用法。之后，“场”词义继续虚化，出现了“计事”和“计时”两种用法，兼具空间性和时间性的语义特征。

The semantic meaning of ＂chang＂ changed from expressing ＂leveled ground for ceremony of offering sacrifices to gods/ancestors＂ and leveled ground for airing the grain＂ to expressing field for activities＂ and ＂evolution of a certain field＂. Owing to the rise of Buddhism, ＂chang＂ was used to express the place for religious services. In the Tang Dynasty, ＂chang＂ was borrowed to express the times of religious services. Later, ＂chang＂ continued to be generalized, expressing ＂counting things＂ and ＂counting time＂ and having the semantic features of space and time.
