文化殖民语境下的翻译实践

不管是过去还是现在,翻译都有意无意地成为西方文化殖民的一种手段.而传统上对“忠实”的强调又常常使得第三世界国家难以脱离被殖民化的危险.翻译目的论对翻译目标（目的）的强调为翻译实践中的消解文化殖民提供了新的思路.本文认为以目的论来观照西方的翻译实践,通过能动的、围绕目标的翻译策略,有利于中国在后殖民背景中保持自己的民族和文化身份.

Translation in Context of Cultural Colonialism

Translation has been serving consciously or unconsciously as a means of the West's cultural colonization.And the traditional focus on "fidelity" in translation practices always prevents the Third World countries from the total decolonization.Highlighting the aims(purposes) of translation,Skopostheory may arm the developing countries with a new weapon in the practices.The paper argues that,examining the western translation practices with the theory and employing similar and purposeful tactics will profit China in maintaining her national and cultural identities in the context of cultural colonization.
