Abstract:The momentum correction coefficient for complex river channels with summation approach over section elements has been developed for steady, uniform and turbulent flows. The momentum correction coefficient is calculated for three selected shapes. It is shown that the momentum correction coefficient is more than 1 and is the function of width to depth (B/H) . In deereases with the increase of the width to depth ratio. The cause why the momentum correction coefficent is more than 1 has been analysed Finally, verfication has been made with field datas.
