民族英雄冯子材祖籍考

清末民族英雄冯子材在谈到其祖籍时,曾称是广东南海,但又遗言后人到南海故里探访确实。后人去南海探访,却毫无线索。反之,在广西博白等地冯氏族谱中却有关于冯子材祖辈的记载,据此,可以肯定冯子材的祖籍是在广西博白,而冯子材不敢承认此事,可能与他要隐瞒年青时曾在广西博白参加反清起义的历史,因而在清政府的统治下忧馋畏讥有关。
