| Abstract: | This paper expounds the omission and addition of information in English translation of Chinese classical poetry by analyzing three versions of "Chun Yuan",and points out that information changes in the sense,sound and form cannot be avoided in poetry translation,due to the differences between Chinese and English in language and culture. |
