Abstract:In this paper,CuY~(2-) or ZnY~(2-) is used as catholyte.Such factors as the composition and concentration of anolyte,anode material,the initialconcentr-ation of catholyte and pH are studied so as to know how theyinfluence the separation of CuY~(2-_)or ZnY~(2-)by electrolysis.The resultsshow that the rate of recovery of EDTA and that of Cu or Zn are over90% and 97% respectively,and that the purity of Ca or Zn is extremlyhigh.
