Abstract: | Summary The morphology and histochemistry of dissociated newborn rat brain was studied in tissue culture. Direct microscopy of developing cells, electron microscopy and the alkaline phosphatase activity were used to identify the capillary endothelial cells.Acknowledgments. We thank Dr J.
