摘    要:地质、地球物理测深研究成果揭示新疆东部、甘肃西部存在两个世代、两种不同的断裂体制:深部断裂体制,形成于古生代,主要反映板块碰撞-对接前板块之间或板内不同块段之间的离散与聚合,控制古生代的构造格局;浅部断裂体制,形成于华力西晚期至中新生代,主要反映板块碰撞-对接后壳内强烈水平挤压,控制中新生代构造格局或逆冲-推覆-滑脱构造。

Abstract:Research achievements in geology and geophysical deep survey have revealed that there are two fault systems of different generations in the Eastern Xinjiang and the Western Gansu. They are as follows.1. The deep fault system formed in Palaeozoic Era. It mostly reflects dispersion and convergence among these plates or different segments of the same plate before plate collision. It controled the structural pattern in Palaeozoic Era.2. The shallow fault system formed in late Varisan period and Mesozoic-Cenozoic Era. It mostly reflects the intense pressing in the crust after plate collision. It controled the structural pattern in Mesozoic-Cenozoic Era or thrust-nappe-gliding structure.
