基于改进的嵌入式零树小波变换的图像压缩算法

摘    要:经过对嵌入式小波零树编码(EZW)算法的基本理论分析,对原图像EZW算法进行了改进,提出了一种把小波系数向下取整后并将出现频次较多的系数置零的改进方法,从而减少了EZW算法中扫描次数,节省了存贮空间.实验仿真结果表明,此算法一方面提高了编码效率,另一方面重构图像的质量也并无明显下降.

Abstract:After analyzing the basic theory of the EZW algorithm the principles of the original image coding algorithm is improved.Aftera rounded down to the wavelet coefficients was taken,the frequency of zero coefficient of more improved method to reduce the EZW algorithm appeared,to reduce the number of scans.Experimental results show that this algorithm improves the coding efficiency on the one hand,on the other hand the quality of the reconstructed image is not significantly decreased.
