Unyielding Spirit and Philosophic Brilliance : a Philosophic Reflection on Mao Zedong's Insisting on Independence in Sino- Soviet Union Relations from 1949 to 1965

China always pursues an independent foreign policy,which was adopted in China's diplomatic relations to Soviet Union in Mao Zedong's time.Mao Zedong,adept at philosophic reasoning,could study and analyze China's diplomatic relations to Soviet Union profoundly and extensively,besides,make right diplomatic policies and strategies,which had reinforced his belief in independence and equipped both his foreign theory and practice with brilliant philosophic wisdom.Specifically speaking,Mao's foreign theory and practice are centered around the key points as follows: a seemingly contradictory idea to achieve solidarity through struggle,a dialectic thought to learn from Soviet Union and surpass it,a view to strengthen masses' support and national power by referring to historical materialism and lastly,attaching importance to spirit based on the principle of subjective activity.
