| Abstract: | Local chronicles, which are called the encyclopedia of local area, systematically record the history and present situation of a region or a department to reserve history and serve the current society with comprehensive materials. Compiling local chronicles must be based on rich local resources. The attribute and function of archives make themselves be the main source of local chronicles, so archives dominate in compiling records. |
