摘    要:反应式MANET路由协议往往选择第一个到达目标结点的RREQ所经过的路径作为路由 .尽管这些路由具有最少的hop数 ,但是它们的性能有时会远远低于网络中实际存在的最佳路由 .为了帮助反应式MANET路由协议选择性能上更接近最佳路由的路径 ,引入了一个全新的路由选择度量———地理路径长度GGRL.模拟实验表明 ,运用GGRL改进后的AODV在路由性能上有了明显的提高

Abstract:Current reactive Ad hoc routing protocols intuitively take the first-arrive RREQ traversed routes as their preference. Although these preferred routes are least-hop routes in the main, they sometimes have significantly less performance than the existing ideal routes. A novel metric, Geographic Route Length (GRL), is proposed to help reactive Ad hoc routing protocols select routes more close to those ideal ones. Simulations results demonstrate that there is a substantial performance improvement after applying GRL into AODV protocol.
