击实红粘土与膨胀土的变形特性对比研究

摘    要:通过调查典型击实红粘土及膨胀土这两种特殊土用作路基填料时路面的破坏形式,研究取自江西吉安的红粘土以及南京高淳的膨胀土的基本物理性质,比较红粘土及膨胀土在干湿循环条件下的胀缩变形特性的异同,得出干湿循环作用下,红粘土的胀缩变形是以收缩为主的胀缩变形,而膨胀土的胀缩变形是以膨胀为主的胀缩变形,这两类土呈现的不同变形趋势是导致它们产生不同路基病害的主要原因;。同时进行了红粘土和膨胀土的水稳性研究,得出红粘土的水稳性明显优于膨胀土。区别对待这两类土可以更好的利用特殊土作为路基填料,使特殊土的工程危害降到最低。

Abstract:The basic properties and shinking and swelling characteristics during the alternative drying and wetting processes of red clay which comes from Ji'an and expansive soil which comes from GaoChun were discussed in this paper through the investigation of failure modes when they are used as road foundation filling element.The similarities and differences in shrinking and swelling characteristics of the two kinds of special soils were compared. This paper also provided that red clay was dominated by contraction and that expansive soil was dominated by expansion under wetting and drying cycles. The research on water stability of red clay and expansive soil was also made in this paper, the experimental results showed that water stability of red clay was significantly better than that of expansive soil.The differences between the two kind of soils were researched to make better use of red clay as subgrade filling in red clay areas and it is possible to make the red clay engineering harm to the minimum.
