Abstract:Prestressing concrete box girder 36 × 30m from simple frame to continuous frame is used in outsized bridge VIII construction over Lanchuan River. Taking this bridge as example, this paper lays stress on force characteristic and key points for design of box girder from simple frame to continuous flame and introduces other construction procedures briefly.
