纳米碳管振荡器及其计算机模拟

摘    要:纳米碳管振荡器外管对内管的作用相当于一个方向不断变化的交变恒力弹簧 ,在此交变恒力弹簧的回复作用下内管速度以线性规律变化而内管位置则按抛物线规律作周期性往复运动 ,其振荡频率可高达GHz甚至更高 .随着温度的增加 ,振荡器内外管间摩擦力明显增大 ,因而能量衰减、振幅衰减都会明显加剧 .

Abstract:Carbon nanotubes as oscillators have aroused growing interest both in theoretical and experimental studies. Computer simulation with molecular dynamics method reveals more clearly that the extruded inner tube(s) will be subjected to an alternating constant force from the outer tube(s) and will oscillate with a frequency as high as GHz around the original place where the centers of mass of different tubes overlap. During the oscillation, the velocity will change linearly while the separation of the centers of mass will change parabolically. The simulation also shows that the shear resistance between different walls of carbon nanotubes will increase with the rise of temperature, which will lead to more energy dissipation and more amplitude decrease of the oscillators.
