| 摘 要： | 英语的衔接手段主要有语法衔接手段和词汇衔接手段两种,这两种衔接手段不仅具有语篇衔接功能,还有对语言的修饰功能。探讨了这两种衔接手段的语言修饰功能,认为学习和掌握衔接手段对语言的修饰功能,既有利于阅读理解,也有利于的语言表达。

| Abstract: | Based on Holliday and Hasan's classification of English cohesive ties, there are two kinds of cohesive ties: grammatical cohesive ties and lexical cohesive ties, which play functions of cohesion and modification. This paper mainly discusses the language-modifying functions of the two kinds of English cohesive ties, and holds that studying and mastering the functions of the language-modifying functions of cohesive ties benefits both reading comprehension and language expression. |
