炭阳极在冰晶石-氧化铝熔体中反应机理的研究

摘    要:采用Lissajous图形法研究了热解石墨、玻璃化碳、标准石墨和预焙炭块在冰晶石·氧化铝熔液中的法拉第阻抗。结果表明,在热解石墨和玻璃化炭电极上,阳极反应的控制步骤为单纯的化学反应;在预焙炭块和标准石墨上,当电流密度较低(i<20mA/cm~2)时,除化学反应外还有明显的扩散贡献;而当电流密度大于20mA/cm~2,位于Tafel区时,则完全由化学反应控制。

Abstract:Corbon electrodes studied here include two types, the non-porous (pyrolytic graphite and vitreous corbon) and the porous and hetrogeneous materials (regular graphite and prebacked corbon), both are studied by means of Lissajous diagram for the anode reaction mechanism in cryolite-alumina melt electrolysis. It is revealed that for the former two the electrolysis process is directly reaction-controlled, but it is more complicated for the latter two as follows. With the current density 20 mA/cm2 taken as criterion, when below it there is a diffusion process in addition to the reaction, and when over it, ie. in Tafel region, it is entirely reaclion- controlled.
