| 摘 要： | 利用小波变换可实现图象的多分辨率分解，但分解后数据量并没有得到压缩，用ＶＱ对分解后的细节图象进行编码时，根据分解后矢量的均值，方差分类设计码本，该方法不但可有效地提高编码时搜索速度，而且重建后图象的也有所提高。

| Abstract: | As the data of image is not compessed after multiresolution decomposition using the wavelet transform,the VQ is used to encode the wavelet transformed detail coefficients and the vectors' codebook is classified according to its mean and variance.Using this method,the fasted code rate and better reconstructed image quality are obtained. |
