| 摘 要： | 中央广播电视大学英语专业(本科)课程使用的“高级英语自学系列教程”在内容设计上充分体现了远程教育教材应发挥的两个重要的助学作用：最大程度地将教师角色以字形式体现在教材中；培养学生的学习自主性。论证了远程教材中的助学设计对培养学习的学习自主性及实施对学习过程的监控起到关键性的作用。

| Abstract: | This paper introduces the learning support devices in the content design of 'Help Yourself to a BA Course Series' (a series of course books prepared specially for the Open Learning BA program for English Education at CCRTVU). it emphasizes the importance of the built-in of such devices in open and distance materials for these devices play the key role in learner autonomy development and learning process monitoring. |
