| Abstract: | This essay mainly discusses the use of formulaic speech,the role of formulaic speech in communication as well as in language acquisition,especially in SLA.It is suggested that formulaic speech is indispensable in foreign language acquisition and constitutes the premise and basis of the development of creative speech. |
