被圣化的自由主义及其遮蔽

自由主义在当代中国不断被神圣化,国内的自由主义者认为,只要实行自由主义方案,就能解决中国的许多问题。但他们只注重自由主义理论的表层东西,却忽略了一些更重要的特征,如强有力的现代国家、法治社会、一定程度的社会正义分配和国家干预经济及完善的社会保障体系等。同时,西方的新自由主义理论家也竭力向我们推荐其改革方案,但他们却有意掩饰自由主义的这些重要东西,这是我们必须警惕的。

The Sacred Liberalism and its Misunderstanding

Liberalism has become so sacred in China that the domestic liberalists assume that the implementation of liberalism will help resolve many of the current problems in China. However, they only notice the superficial connotation of liberalism while neglecting some of its crucial features, such as a powerful modern state, legal society, distribution of social justice, state intervention, and complete social guarantee system. At the same time, the western advocators of new liberalism are sparing no efforts to propaganda their reform program while intentionally covering the above crucial features. We shall be fully aware of this phenomenon.
