电致动聚合物致动器的动态响应研究

摘    要:采用电场型电致动聚合物--介电弹性体(DE)制作了一种圆形致动器,在交流电压和直流脉动电压驱动下,分别研究了电压波形、幅值和频率的位移响应情况.实验结果表明,当幅值和频率相同、波形不同时,DE薄膜的驱动位移相差较大,在方波、正弦波和三角波电压下,其驱动位移依次减小.随着频率的增高,驱动位移的递减速度依次增大.当电压波形相同时,位移随电压幅值的增加而增大,随频率的增高而减小,均呈非线性关系,并且直流脉动电压比交流电压的驱动过程稳定.对比双向预拉伸2×2、3×3、4×4倍的DE致动器电致动实验结果可知,预拉伸4×4倍的DE致动器所需的驱动电场强度比预拉伸2×2倍和3×3倍的DE致动器所需的驱动电场强度高,从变形过程的稳定性、响应速度以及稳定变形条件下DE致动器所能承受的频率来看,预拉伸4×4倍的DE致动器优于预拉伸2×2倍和3×3倍的DE致动器.

Abstract:Dielectric elastomer (DE), a kind of electronic electroactive polymer (EAP), was made as a circular actuator and investigated for displacement response of the different voltage waveform, amplitude and frequency as driven by AC voltage and pulsating DC voltage. The influ-ences that the above factors bring to electroactive displacement of DE actuator were investigated through experiments. The experimental results lead to the following conclusions. The displace-ment differs with different wave of voltage, which decreases driven by square, sine and triangular wave of voltage respectively with other conditions remained while the reduction speed increases with the increasing frequency. The displacement increases with the increasing amplitude of volt-age and decreases with the increasing frequency of voltage. The relation between displacement and amplitude as well as frequency of drive voltage gets nonlinear. The drive process is more sta-ble driven by pulsating DC voltage than that driven by AC voltage. Comparing the experimental results of DE actuators with 2×2,3×3 and 4×4 pre-strain, the conclusion shows that the elec-tric field strength for DE actuator with 4×4 pre-strain is higher than that for the DE actuator with 2×2 and 3×3 pre-strain. The DE actuator with 4×4 pre-strain is more desirable the actua-tor with 2×2 and 3×3 pre-strain for the deformation stability, response speed and frequency of voltage that the DE actuator can endure.
