| Abstract: | Sucking up the advantages of sliding isolating and supporting isolating of rubber, two new kinds of isolating mechanisms are proposed. One is able to cohere the upper structure on the foundation in order to ensure the structural stability, while a stronger earthquake takes place, buildings are on the slid state because the bond strength is disappeared. The other possess lower frictional coefficient, and it is more reliable and durable. Both of them possess the functions of spacing and returnning. Tests on a shaking table by means of single particle model are carried out. |
