| Abstract: | Tetrobromofluorescein (TBF), morin, and methylene blue (MEB)manibest photosensitization on ascitic hepatoma cells. Cytocidal activitywas significantly increased and ascites hepatoma(AH )cells DNA synthesiswas significantly inhibited by the three photosensitizers. Thephotosensitizations increased in proportion to the concentrations ofphotosensitizers and the length of irradiation time. The mechanisms ofphotosensitization of TBF, morin and MEB were involved in H_2O_2, whilethat of morin was not only involved in H_2O_2 but in OH. as well. |
