| Abstract: | The glassware of Shanxi has been holding an important status in the history and the traditional style of manufacture is still used today.In Shanxi,ordinary residences are decorated with glassware,with the customs of evil spirit exorcising,happiness enjoyment,disaster preventing and power.Glassware is used in decorating temples,archways and wall keels in classical architecture,screen walls,base-relieves and some useful tables,stools and pots in landscape construction.Shanxi's glassware industry should change from traditional modeling pattern to the building of modern public facilities and gardens. |
