| Abstract: | 5 Genus, 31 species of the Tabanidae were found in the Zibeishan area in Mt. Qinling. Their growth and decline accur during the middle part of May, and greatly increase during the last part of the month. They become most active from June to August, but completely disappeares at the end of September. Their density is the greatest between the first part and the mid-part of August. The periods of their appearance and activity are defferent with species. The density and the activity of the species vary with temperature, humidity and rainfall. |
