| Abstract: | In this paper the vibration problems of an orthotropic elliptic plate under slowly varying temperature field are dealt with by using singular perturbation method and Galerkin method. The explicit expressions of the influences of thermal effect on the natural frequeney of elliptic plate are derived. Finally numerical example is worked out and the influences of the thermal effect on the eigenfrequency are also shown numerically. |
