中国古代服装是一个内容浩瀚的文化宝库。本文力求在翔实的史料基础上,整理出一条中国古代服装设计方法的主线,并据此认为:在特定的历史背景下,由先人们创造的设计方法之所以对当今的服装设计仍产生着很大影响,实际上是一种历史的延续,是一种文化的继承。从设计方法的角度来研究和认识中国古代服装,应该是一个崭新的课题。

Preliminary Study on Designing Methods of Ancient Chinese Costume

The ancient Chinese costume is a grand cultural treasure of long history. Although a great number of ancient Chinese costume have been displayed and familiar to us, there has not been a thorough study of the designing methods . This article is to clarify the master stream of these designing methods and conclude that these designing methods which were invented under certain specific historic backgrounds in ancient time actually affect greatly on the modern designs. That is the result of cultural inheritance. It is a brand - new vision to study and learn the ancient Chinese costume from the point of designing methods.
