| Abstract: | Engel's coefficient has been regarded as the important basis for the criterion in determining the poor and the rich by the United Nations. By analyzing Engel' s coefficient in this paper, the author Wants to reveal that Engel's law has certain adaptability under the condition of the market economy in China, Besides, he analyzes the economi ccondition and living standard of the citizens in Dongguan City and its surrounding towns. |
