Distributive Production Supervision and Scheduling System for Steel Making Process

The management characteristics of steel making process were analyzed, and over all structure of production scheduling system was given. An integrated scheduling method based on rules, heuristic algorithms and user cooperation was presented to deal with non structural and non deterministic factors in practical environment. The system has been used in industrial environment, and the application of the system shows that supervision of the whole production process can be performed, near optimal scheduling can be found efficiently and the quality of schedule can be improved greatly.
