| 摘 要： | 《红色英勇勋章》,被公认为美国文学史上的一部极具艺术价值的经典作品,作者斯蒂芬.克莱恩在文中率先探讨了人类的命运和自然的冷漠使得该作自问世后便引起评论界高度关注。评论家趋向于将其视为一部象征性作品。一般认为克莱恩借助象征是为了表达宗教主题。文章试图通过详细分析《红色英勇勋章》表现的自然主义思想主题来更全面、准确地理解和欣赏该部优秀作品。

| Abstract: | The Red Badge of Courage has been widely acknowledged as a classic in American literary history.Since its publication,the fate of human being and the ignorance of nature have brought about numerous and diverse criticisms in the novel by Stephen Crane.Contemporary critics have tended to regard it as a symbolic work.Many articles have been written to analyze the novel from symbolic approaches.This paper attempts to make a detailed analysis of his naturalistic ideas in The Red Badge of Courage so that a better understanding and appreciation of the work can be achieved. |
