The Enlightenment of Hot Points of Library Assessment in Foreign Countries to China

The assessment,which plays an important role in library management,is always the focus of the research of domestic and foreign libraries.This paper introduces the background and hot points of library assessment carried out in China and foreign countries,which includes the performance assessment,service quality and？customer satisfaction assessment,and economic value assessment,etc.,and points out that various libraries in China should pay attention to the assessment,borrow some ideas from the advanced experiences of foreign countries in the assessment,and promote the healthy development of China＇ librarianship.
