Mapping Knowledge Domains on Research Trend of Precast Concrete Structures in China: Based on Bibliometric Statistics from 1992 to 2019

The development of precast concrete structures is a revolutionary mode of construction and an effective way to realize the modernization of construction industry. In order to systematically grasp the research trend of precast concrete structures in China, the scientific methods of bibliometric analysis, including the analysis of co-word, co-occurrence, cluster, academic community and co-cited literature, was used to qualitatively and quantitatively investigate the research focus, knowledge base and evolution path of precast concrete structure in China, and the mapping knowledge domains was drawn. The results show that the development of precast concrete structures in China show a steady and rapid growth trend, and the existing research results mainly focus on the theory and experimental research of structural performance and other four directions, and the basic theoretical research occupies the dominant position, and research process is closely related to industry policy. It is concluded that the research and application of precast concrete structures will further realize the development of scale with the continuous promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading. Conclusions and recommendations can provide clearer reference directions for the future research on precast concrete structures.
