论墨子对物理学的贡献

墨子是中国历史上著名的思想家、教育家和军事家,同时,他也是中国历史上最早的物理学家之一。墨子在时空观、宇宙学、力学、声学、光学以及将物理应用到机械方面都有跨越性的进步和巨大的学术成就。以往对墨子的研究主要集中在哲学、人文、政治与军事等方面,但是他对物理学所做出的巨大贡献也不应该被忽视。墨子身处春秋战国时期,他对物理学的很多贡献都在军事上有所体现并且产生了巨大影响。

Mozi's Contribution to Physics

Mozi is a famous thinker , strategist and educator in the history of China, at the same time,he is also one of the earliest physicist in Chinese history. Mozi has cross-cutting progress and great academic achievements in time-space, cosmology, mechanics, acoustics, optics, and the applications of physics to mechanics. Previous study of Mozi mainly concentrated in such aspects as philosophy, cultural, political and military, but he made great contribution to the physics should not be neglected. Mozi was in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States period, his many contributions to physics all reflected on the military and had a huge influence.
