| Abstract: | The plane problem of physical force as a constant in Theory of Elastic Mechanics is ultimately resolved by solving the biharmonic equation of Airy stress function under given boundary conditions.This paper explains in detail the physical meaning of Airy stress function,and finally presents the practical application of Airy stress function in examples. |
