| Abstract: | This paper presents a method of extreme concave surface interpolation in 3-D image reconstruction from a sequence of parallel contours extract in cross-sections. We decompose extreme concave polygon into some star polygons. In planar polar coordinate system, we obtain each interpolated contours between the star-polygons and adjacent slice through intersection of radii. Then the whole interpolated intermediate contours are produced by using a fast intersection technology. |
