Towards an Object-oriented Simulation World View |

| Abstract: | Object-Oriented Simulation (OOS) has been widely developed in recent. years. However most efforts are made in simulation modeling by using Object-Oriented Programming Languages (OOPLs). We have proposed a world view for object-oriented simulation based on system theory, object-oriented paradigm and DEVS formalism. The infrastructure, the simulation mechanism, and the basic modeling framework and control framework of the world view are presented. Simulation structures of traditional world views are also analyzed. Future works and research directions are presented. |
