| Abstract: | This paper discusses the magnetic field on the axis in a current-carrying sparse winding solenoid with limited length. We compare it with the magnetic field created by a current-carrying close winding solenoid. It gives us more complete understanding of the magnetic field distribution in a current-carrying solenoid. |
