| Abstract: | Teaching principles are the essence of the earliest classic pedagogical works in our country On Learning. It expounded reciprocal benefits between teaching and learning, elicitafion and induction, improvement for the good and making up of defects, integration of curricular and extracurricular work and play, and proper helping and learning interrelationship among learners. On the basis of the original text, this paper makes some preliminary analysis in the light of contemporary educational theories and present educational practices. |
