| Abstract: | Summary A radiologically normal human nucleus pulposus was extracted with 4 M guanidinium chloride and the non-collagenous proteins separated from the proteoglycans by dissociative density gradient centrifugation. Lysozyme was identified as a matrix constituent of the normal, mature human nucleus pulposus.Supported by Public Health Service Training Grant ES-07088. |
