摘    要:基本科学指标数据库(ESI)是由美国科技信息所推出的衡量科学研究绩效、跟踪科学发展趋势的基本分析评价工具。以进入ESI排名全球前1%的我国高校材料学科为研究样本,以国外一些知名科研单位为参照,对其学科论文数、总引用量及其排名变化、高被引论文、热门论文等因子进行了系统的分析对比,进而揭示了我国211高校材料学科的整体发展水平和国际竞争力,为有效掌握我国材料学科的发展提供了客观依据。

Abstract:ESI developed by America's ISI(Institute for Scientific Information)is a basic analyzing and evaluating tool for measuring the performance of scientific research and following the trend of scientific development. Taking the material subjects of China's universities entering the top 1% of ESI as the study examples, and taking some foreign famous scientific research units as the references, this paper makes systematic analysis and comparison of the factors of the number of academic papers, total citation frequency and ranking changes, highly-cited papers, and hot papers, etc., further reveals the overall development level and international competitiveness of the material subjects in China's 211 project universities,and provides an objective basis for effectively grasping the development of material subjects in China.
