基于第三层交换技术的校园网VLAN建设

摘    要:随着网络硬件性能的不断提高、成本的不断降低,目前新建立的校园网基本上都采用了性能先进的千兆网技术,其核心交换机采用三层交换机,它能很好地支持虚拟局域网(VLAN)技术,这对方便校园网的管理、保证校园网的高速可靠运行起到了非常重要的作用。本主要介绍了第三层交换技术和ⅥAN技术,并结合校园网的实际情况,讨论了基于第三层交换的VLAN的优势,从技术角度分析了用VLAN建设校园网的可行性和必要性。

Abstract:With improvement of network hardware functioning and decline of cost, the newly-built campus networks adopt advanced Gb Ethernet technology with Layer3 Switch as core, which perfectly supports Virtual LAN technology and makes it convenient for campus network management and guarantees campus network reliable high speed running. This paper mainly introduces Layers Switching technology and Virtual LAN technology, and discusses the advantages of VLAN based upon Layers3 Switching as that of campus network, analyzing the feasibility and necessity of VLAN construction for campus network from the viewpoint of technology.
